I was watching Fox Sports Network the other day and saw a benching competition. Some guy broke the bench record with a 706 lb. bench press....crazy![]()

What weight class was he in? I'll be pretty impressed if he's in the 123's![]()
in flex there was a guy who weighed 365 and did 900 lbs once. And he did 700 for ten. Now that is crazy
Screw that, if he is anything under 350 he's benching double his weight, thats impressive to me.What weight class was he in? I'll be pretty impressed if he's in the 123's
i dont care if he weighs 500 lbs a 710 bench is unbelievable. That is almost as much as my friggin car.
I'm impressed by triple bodyweight bench presses. I remember seeing some Japanese guys with crazy totals that looked something like this .... bodyweight 150 bench 450, squat 450, deadlift 450. I don't remember the actual numbers but it went something like that.
Lifting 2 times bodyweight is impressive. But 3 times bodyweight can only be accomplished unnaturally. It is possible to lift twice your body weight naturally.
good lift LOLOriginally Posted by ImmmtheIceman
i saw another guy Ryan Kneelly bench 800 pounds, let me see if i can find the link again, it was a video...
Some people think you should you should lift raw. I don't care if you are using a triple ply denim shirt, it's still impressive to me, and so are the "unnatural" lifts. You still have to train hard and know what you are doing to get there.Originally Posted by nsa
how much do these shirts actually give you, im confused on the principle of these lifting shirts?Originally Posted by Powrlftr
They give you around 100 pounds on your bench. So IMO its cheating.
the 200 pound guys looked fat. they didn't look like they could do it, but those dudes were crazy, i seen it too, they were doing like 700+. that little asian guy that weight 112 did like 305.5.
yea they definitely looked fat.
