Can I inject my humulin R with 23g 1.5 pins?

I just picked up some humulin r and was just wondering if I need to go ahead and buy the insulin needles or if I can just use my 23g. never done slin before. How much should I start out at per day? Where should I inject it? Any input on insulin use would be greatly appreciated.

F-NO! slin pins are measured differently and if you use a regular pin you could kill yourself.

You really need to read up on this before you do anything. There are a ton of threads you can read on insulin in the forum.

Bro for ur on sake do not use da 23 gauge. Its not like testosterone. With test if u inject a little bit more then u should well who cares, nothin happens. But with slin if u do the same thing your dogs meat. use notin but the insulin needles. Insulin needles have different measurements then other needles. damiongage was only tryin 2 help u.

Well, actually I am going to walgreens to buy some slin pins today.... I'm not trying to waste your time on this board which most of you may think. And JESUS CHRIST I am sorry about posting my opinion about the ruff ryders. I didn't say "your avatar sucks"

Well, I had a friend about a year ago who tried to kill himself with humulin R that he bought at walgreens. He injected 3cc of the ****. I know that's a lot more IU's than you're supposed to take. He ate a ****load of food then passed out for about 12 hours, then woke up fine. But all I was trying to do here actually was find out about some slin before doing it.

why but the pins???? you do not even know how to use it properlly....As far as your friend goes......there have been people that haved jumped out of a plane and have their shut not open...and lived. I would still advise that if you jump out of a plane with no shut, you will die.
