Nolvadex or Clomid for PCT? Which one you use?

This is kind of difficult for some people to choose from whether is Nolva or Clomid for proper PCT. Let us all know what your best anti-estrogen PCT product you use?

Nolva IMO doesn't take the place of clomid for post cycle therapy.
I use clomid and ldex.

why is that. It is said that Nolva is better than Clomid. Why you say this?

Nolva doesn't jumpstart your natural test production like clomid does.

Clomid is clinically used to halt estrogen and boost LH to trigger increase natural tesotsterone levels... which induces ovulation in women. Perfect effects for someone coming off exogenous androgen use...

Like MBaraso said, there is no replacement for Clomid - nothing mainstream...

I say both at the same time with Clomid being the choice if I can only choose 1.

All the studies you are looking for are in the pct forum. The awful article by Llewellyn that claimed nolva superior to clomid has really screwed a lot of people's minds up on this matter. The tissue specificity is the key here. Clomid is far superior.

I use Nolvadex because after my first cycle I was using Clomid and it gave me gyno. Everything else was in check. I switched to Nolva and it stopped.
Now I can take low dose Clomid if I take arimidex with it. So I believe it was from the strong LH stimulation that Clomid causes, leading to some aromatization.

I wish I could take Clomid in big doses, 'cause I wanna blow big loads.

I keep my gains better on Nolva, have better mental health & stability, and don't experience visual disturbances.
It's more convenient to only buy one SERM too.

I'm on the side that real-world experience is king.

Clomid is more selective to the suprapituitary, whereas nolva is more selective to ERs in the breast, bone and liver. The studies that showed nolva to be superior were for durations of 3-12 months. All acute studies show clomid to be the far better stimulator of LH production, and therefore test. So, as far as efficiency goes, clomid is the better stimulator of LH and restores HPTA function much faster.

The only legit argument for claiming nolva to be "superior" is that some get mild side effects from clomid.

In any event, I use adex, clomid and nolva during pct.

As for the mention of clomid causing gyno above, it is more likely that if you used clomid (w/o nolva) that clomid didn't prevent gyno rather than itself causing gyno, as it's a very weak ER antagonist in the breast. Alternatively, it may have been from an acute spike in LH levels, which would speak volumes of its potency.....using an AI with clomid and nolva would have prevented the issue of gyno.

Yeah, I was using Nolva with the Clomid, so that wasn't it.
It had to be from the LH spike, 'cause it stopped when I stopped the Clomid.

I use both for the reasons einstein described...... I also use l-dex and tribbulus

I totally agree with EINSTEIN and therefore I use both for PCT...
