    Lightbulb Advice would be Nice

Well i've been doin the 5/2 split for a yr and 1/2 now, not seeing any weight gains recently(several months)and i work out with great intensity. So im goin to try to work out every body part in 3days then 2off then repeat. Im only goin to be doin 9-12 sets per muscle group with heavy weight and mass builder exercises. My question is what is the best combination to work out all body parts in 3 days
I dont want to do chest/tri back/bi togethor bc by the time im done with either chest or back my tri or bi doesnt get a high intense work out
I also will be doin 9 set for delts and 9 sets for traps so what ever body part i do with shoulders shouldnt be a big one, right? anyways ill let u guys decide that for me, of course ill be doin trial and error but i firgured ill see what every one esle's opinion was. Thanks guys

I used to do 3days on 1 day off 3 days on 2 days off and repeat. I would hit the gym twice a day, once in the morning, once in the afternoon/early evening. My split would be -

    Chest (morn) Back (aft/eve)
    Delts&Traps (morn) Biceps (aft/eve)
    Triceps (morn) Legs (aft/eve)

The main thing to take note of in my thinking was that biceps and triceps are trained as the last things on upper body in a split, this is as they are used to an extent in most exercises so by not doing them at the beginning of a split intensity can be achieved in all the other muscle groups. This is not ground breaking, but it is good basics.

    Hope this helps!

I've done this in the past.
3 days on, 1 off, repeat cycle.
    Day 1: Chest, Shoulders, Tri's
    Day 2: Quads, Hams, Calves
    Day 3: Back and Bi's
    Day 4: REST
Personally, recovery was an issue for me.
Try many different combinations and see which one fits you best.

Not quite what you are looking for but I figured I'd post mine anyways. I have been making tremendous progress since going to this routine:

    Mon - Chest/Tris
    Tue - Quads/Calfs/Abs
    Wed - Rest
    Thur - Back/Bis
    Fri - Shoulders/Hams/Calfs
    Sat - Abs/Heavy Cardio
    Sun - Rest
