Lightbulb Any Muscle Fans with Muscle Cars on here?

i am nuts about hot rod machines. just wondered if there was anyone else on here into the filth and joy of V8 heaven?

trying to figure out how to post some pics up here and hopefully some other chaps will put up pics of theirs (please no fictional pics!)

aha. duh. page down. duh duh.

anyway here's mine, nowt special but i like it. a real project.

its a 51' Chevy gutted and reupholstered with cadillac interior. the 51 chev may be common as muck over the water there in the US but i dont know a soul with one here in Scotland. most other tattooers i know are into really wanky lotus or porche or whatever. me i love the V8. 5.7 litres of bastard wagon!

i am still working on the dash and ceiling and sound. i dont have a power steering rack as i prefer the horrors of direct steer heehee, great forearm workout. the chassis is stiffened and runs a small block chev 350. ive clocked it in at 330 through the wheels which i reckon is pretty decent. there are no significant mods but my next project is to install a roots supercharger and change the pulleys. meantime gona build a new bumper (thats my DIY effort on there at the mo)

i love the old fifties curves. but i am also a big fan of the camaro.

Nice car Monster, looks like it is coming along nicely.
Also some nicer old school cars here as well.

I started out with this thing as my first car:
67 Frame off resto: 289, auto, completely overhauled from front to back.....

Shameless plug, since one of these is for sale at the moment(2nd, yellow one).....but here are my 2 latest money pits'......

    1) 93 GT w/351W 5 spd....wayyy too much money into it.

    2) 94 GT 302 5 spd H/C/I NOS PMS etc.

I am going thru insurance so its only 500 bucks. ****er got me good tho, all the way from the front panel on the passenger side to the mid bumper. I hope the color matches, I will get it back today or tomorrow. That fag is lucky I didnt catch him in the act.

I am right down the street from Atco Raceway. I can probably spit to the Berlin Circle from my house.....if you know where that is.
My yellow one (94 GT) is out front for sale at the moment, and the black one (93 GT) just keeps taking more and more money out of my pockets as soon as it goes in......I still have a fuel system and a custom ground cam to go in there as soon as I get around to it.
Next up, is the turbo kit......9 second street car here I come......

Bro, my Aunt lives off of Atco ave! and my sister just moved almost right across from the the raceway! I live in Marlton... One of my best bro's lives over that way, off of 73S passed the 84 lumber (what ever that road is) off of 30.
****, small world bro! If you saw the pic of MudMan's car that was taken at atco by the way!
I'll have to check it out next time I'm buzzin' round atco...

Yeah, there seem to be a decent amount of gearheads around the area.....probably partly due to the track right here.

I will be hitting up the NMRA race at Atco in the middle of August with both cars(actually, hopefully the 94 will be sold by then) in the car show there.
Maybe I will see ya around....

Cars are my passion. Everything I do, school, job, revolves around them.

I have a 1991 T-bird SC.. all original... not really a muscle car... but for now it has a blown and intercooled 232 V6.... I'm building a stroked SB this winter with a centri. SC.... will make a lil over 500hp, 500 ft/lbs..., just a driver.

I also have a 1988 GMC Sierra, again not a muscle-car, but it has a balanced 355, with vortec heads, comp valvetrain, speed pro guts, etc... makes 400 hp, hooked to a 4 spd, manny... it's a shortbox, with electron blue paint...

In the future, when I get the cash, I will TRY to restore the old '64 Comet... I have a 514 at the shop... just waiting....

Here's an old pic...(couldn't get a recent one of mine with the keyed paint )

Skin, you can't swing a dead cat in here without hitting a hot rod fan. Monster and Mud have sick cars. I've a 68' convertable vette.....my project car. I'd take a picture for you guys but at current state she's in a million pieces. After the third or fourth engine I decided to strip it down to the frame and redo everything on her.

I had one in the USAF . . . tore out the old beat-up upholstery, put in blue fur all over and a thick foam pad for a back seat. Put a $29 Earl Scheib paint job on it, and $600 later (including purchase price) it was ready to roll. Was a great car, drove it cross country 3 times. Super-easy to fix. I miss it . . .

Seems that a big guy coming out of a small car would be more impressive than a big guy coming out of a big car. That's one reason I like small . . .

So are you going to get yourself one of those mini cooper's? Hell a 4' 2" 105 pound man would looked jacked climbing out of one of those babies. hahahaha
