anyone have any ideas on waterproofing a couch? i want to put one outside of my door in my apartment, but i realize that moisture at night and rain will completely ruin it and take forever to dry.

no way to completely waterproof it. The best you could do would be scotch guard or just put plastic on it

ya, thats basically what i discovered. but just seeing if there was any way anyone else had theirs rigged, because i know i have seen them.
take lots of candles melt them at the pot and then just pour all that wax all over the couch? Or buy an elephant size condom

visqueen(sp), then use one of those things that sux all the air out of the bag and BOOM, waterproof couch. Actually i have no idea if this will work but hey worth a try. Try just putting the couch under a canopy or something
