    hit a nerve?

I just did a b12 injection in my right deltoid, and it seems to have gone kinda numb. Did I hit a nerve? Also my heart beat has really gone up after I did that injection. What do you guys think? I'm kinda freaking out a little bit so a quick answer would be nice.

You can loose more than feeling when you hit a nerve. A friend of mine called me one time saying he couldn't move his leg. I rushed over to his house and his leg was numb and he couldn't move it. He claimed he went in his glute. I could only assume he hit his syatic(sp?) it came back to him after about 30min. I was a little freaked out for him. Be careful and read up on site injections, before injecting again. Thats my advice.

You could have damaged your nerve. That is also nothing to worry about. It should heal itself.

Time will heal. I was just saying what I heard makes it faster. In the end you will be fine. Iceing would be a good idea too.
