are you taking fat burners. if so then i would save it for a bulker. i was using both but wen i stoped using creatine i got beter results from the fat burner. thats just me
Dont use creatine to cut, it makes retain water, so despite losin fat, ull still look smooth.
I agree you will retain the water creating the smooth look.Originally Posted by JamesC
I like to take creatine while cutting. It helps me maintain my strength when taking in a deficit of calories. Yes, it will make you look smoth but when you stop using creatine you will look shredded and you will have more muscle that you would if you didn't use it.
Yeh but the point i was making nsa is it makes it hard to tell how much more fat u need to lose if ur smooth regardless due to water weight.
Does it make a difference how much more you need to lose. Are you going to try less hard to cut fat if you know you have less to lose...
No i mean u might think u avent realli lost nethin when u av realli, and may b exactly where u wanna be without realisin it.
So your saying it might make you cut more fat than you planned on cutting?
No sorry that last thing made no sense, i meant u mite not cut enuf, eg when u come off the creatine u avent cut as much as ud wanted becoz u cudnt actualli see ur real progress.
I personally think that retaining muscle mass and strength while cutting is a very important thing. I think not being able to see exactly how much fat you've cut isn't that crucial to cutting, i personally always cut as much as i can in the time i have given myself for cutting regardless of how i look or how much fat i've cut.
BTW i was on creatine when i took the pic for my avatar. So i don't think the water retention is so drastic that you can't tell how much more fat you need to cut.
