Clomid vs Proviron - Little help please

Im currenlty getting some "bits" together and my source has told me that he cant get clomid right now (bummer!) but he can get proviron, which hes says is a substitute.

iv just taken a look on the AR site and it seems to be saying that i cant substitute proviron for clomid.

any info on this would be helpful please, since iv never used proviron at all.

1) Is proviron an effective substitute for clomid?
2) Would i be better to wait for clomid?
3) any other info about the two would be gratefullly digested

hey bro,

proviron will stop AAS from converting to estrogen in some people. Some take 25mg/day proviron, and 20mg/day of nolva, and have no problem with gyno. You will need clomid post-cycle to avoid the crask of coming off AAS. You need to take it to get the testes working again! Proviron is not a sub for clomid!

thanks guys! this is pretty much what i thought after reading the info on AR but i wanted to make sure since iv never used the stuff myself.
