Taking deca alone

I have been training for around 10years and I am 29 now 5'11" with around
10-15% bodyfat at the moment and weighing 178lbs. I'm currently making
adjustments to my diet to reduce the excess bodyfat and I have switched to the training routine recommended on this board. I have just started a cycle of deca going up to around 250-300mg for an 8 week duration. This is my first cycle by the way as recommended by the board(cycles for novices). I am
simply looking for moderate gains in size and strength and some reduction in bodyfat. I currently don't have access to any other AS to add to the cycle and I am beginning to wonder if the cycle of just deca is going to be helpful for me. Advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm also wondering if clomid is absolutely necessary when ending the cycle.

hey bro deca biggest side is deca dick... no more mr happy... you should run it like this

400mg /deca
500mg/ of some type of test.. maybe look into (test cy or sust)

run for 8 or 10 weeks

have nolv on hand and clomid

Gear101 hit the nail on the head! unless your partner is happy with no sex you will need some test in there somewhere, or maybe a nice supply of viagra

You WILL make some gains from just the deca but you MUST have the clomid for after the cycle or your deca dick is going to last for way too long!

if you cant get the clomid dont do the cycle until you can! (that goes the same even if you get test too!)

There's about 3 threads going on right now about this. Add a little test with the Deca to make it work great for you. Deca alone isn't very powerful; stacked with test it is. If you're worried about bloat, do 200-400mg of test and 10mg of nolvadex ed or 20mg nolvadex eod. It takes 4-6 weeks for the deca to start working, run the cycle for 10-12 weeks. Have the clomid or hcg on hand so you don't lose your gains.

I've found that on a test/deca cycle, you can lose gains at the beginning of the next cycle because it takes so long for the test and deca to kick in. My new standard operating proceedure is going to be to always start the next cycle with atleast 4 weeks of Dbol. In my case, the clomid or HCG lets me keep the gains for about 4-6 post cycle, I start losing a little while I'm waiting for the next test/deca cycle to kick in. I may consider using cloimd at the beginning of the next cycle after I've had two weeks off of it if dbol isn't available to me.

You'll get some decent gains, but not nearly as much as you would if you add some form of test! And besides the dreaded D/D you might have to worry about deca gyno. Not everyone gets it ( my tits get sore just typing the word.) and nolva will do dick about that! You'll have to throw in some winstrol for that. I think i read somewhere on here that you can DRINK it,LOL. And yes you will need the clomid even if you are only doing 250/w, why take a chance losing your gains. But think about adding some kind of test.

Now i am wondering since i don't have access to test at the moment although
that may change in a couple of weeks should i discontinue the cycle I am on as I have only been on it for a week or should I continue in the hopes that I can add test in a couple of weeks?? Please advise

one thing about AS have all your gear befor you start and any nolv and clomid that you need... stop the cycle and get evrything that you need.. do you have gyno protection????

I don't have gyno protection as I was originally under the impression from all
the reading that I have done that deca and gyno weren't really a
problem? Should everything be alright if I just stop the cycle now.

bro i'd stop and do some reading about deca befor you do any more... another side of deca is gyno.. and i'd wait until you et the test/ nolv/winny/cloimd before you start up again....

If you have only been on a week you could stop with no probs. Some guys do get deca gyno ( me being one of them) and the only thing that'll help that is winny, and also helps with D/D!!. But if your nips aren't puffy or sore after the 1st week, you might be one of the lucky ones.

Everyone keeps saying you wont get any gains alone on just deca, then what makes a difference if you take it with a tes? Or are you saying not to take tes alone without deca or you wont get any gains either.

Test is the most powerful of the anabolics. Test alone is great. Deca is a "cleaner", synthetic test. You get the benefits without the sides. Most of the folks who I speak with off this board are pro atheletes. They all say to use test, but as little as possbile because of sides. Hence, stacking with Deca and alike. I've never heard of deca dick or deca gyno before this board; I'm sure it's legit because there are tons of people with experience. But certainly, I've never heard of a cycle using deca as the base either. Deca alone is going to be better than nothing at all at 400mg per week plus; but why not add the test, even if it's only 200-300mg? It's cheap, it's a powerful mass builder, it keeps your sexual function functioning. I would do test alone before I did deca alone. My $.02

It's not that you won't get ANY gains, if your satisfied with 5-10 lbs fine. Good workouts, good diet, deca, you'll get that but why not stack with something else and maybe throw on 15-25 lbs (thats what i got my 1st cycle). You can take them alone, but they work on 2 different receptors that way they reinforce each other. It's up to you bro.

Im currently on a Deca only cycle 300/10wk. on the cycle before this I did sust alone and saw tremendous results,Ive taken deca before alone and saw some great results and never had a problem with Deca Dick.I quess its just the individual.HCG is a must after cycle to maintain gains and fix the D/D if you get it.I love the Deca only cycle , no less than 300a week though.If your into defenition more than bulk (like I am) deca alone will do, but on later cycles add some test to it also.

Just my opinion but it appeas that you may want to up the Deca to 400mgs a week for at least 12 wks . I beleive that deca has a long ester ie. a longer cycle may give you better results. Some recommend as long as 16wks. In addition 300mg appears to be the baseline for what you can produce naturally so it really would not do anything for. As for Deca dick. It appears that is not an issue for most at the levels you would be using it at. Besides, if you are focused on growing a little break from sex cannot hurt you.
