The new 10 is badassssss!!! If you can get the Canadian model, do it. The US model is 162 HP and the Canadian model is 175 HP due to less smog restrictions.

They are all the same, they are so close in comparision, that unless you are a professional rider. I mean by GP standards, you wought be able to tell. Go for what style you like. Myself I have 2 r6 for the track they are 2000 great bikes. Also a 999s and 748r those are for parking lot pimping . I am in the business, but before you judge by looks. Take a good look at the gsxr 600 2004. That would be my pick.

exactly, everyone says.. "ohh, my bike will beat your bike...blah blah" but its really the person on the bike that makes it fast.
    i have a 01 r1, but am wanting the 04 gsxr 1000.. thats a bad ass machine...
if i was in the market for 6s i would get the gsxr 600. fast, clean, and most of all fun to ride.

I am cbr guy myself...very street friendly...gsxr's need to be up in the r's a little more to get them to perform. cbrs have a bit more midrange power, better for the street imo

I been through a few streetbikes, '89 ZX-7, '93 ZX-7, and '99 R-1. The R-1 was awesome. That thing was a wheelie monster. The sport bikes are cool, but if the money is available, step up to the Open Class... there is no comparison!!!

Another Duck guy, huh? I use to carry around crackers and place them by my friends (Ducati riders) bikes, and them tease that that some day, maybe the bike will grow and get a little stronger in order to keep up.

Hahahha Thats pretty funny. I just like the way they look and handle. But in all honesty, unless you are a pro, all the major players make a great bike.

Agreed. Just as long as my inline four buddies don't hear me say that!

Yah, had a Vulcan for years, got rid of it when the cagers got too crazy in the suburbs.
But . . . before you ride, go take a Motorcycle Rider Safety Class. Honda sponsors a lot of these, so does Harley. Honda rebates the $100 class fee if you buy a bike from them. But even if they didn't, it would be well worth taking -- they'll teach you things that will keep you alive.
    Check it out . .
