Any skiers/boarders who can't wait for the first flakes to fall

Just wondering how many skiers/boarders we have here. I can't wait to head to the mountains and get back on my skis. I have a ski house with a few of my friends this year at Killington, the closest decent skiing to nyc.

    Where do you guys ski/board?

I'm close to world class skiing within hours. AB and BC mountains on the site below are all very close.

I live in San Antonio, and have been snowboarding for about 2 1/2 years now. Every year I try to be on the slopes at least 10 days. Going to Lake Tahoe in Dec. and Breckenridge in Jan. I ride a Burton Custom 166, with Custom bindings, and a few different kinds of boots. NOTHING beats cruising some fresh pow all day with a group of buddies........

I can't wait to see the new runs. I have a friend who worked on the new Creekside and he said that there are some major runs hooking into it...Big Timber, Home Run, and something else.

I guess the new Flute Bowl is going to be sweet for back country powder skiing.

    Unhappy

I used to ski at Sunday River in Maine back in 1984 when they had like 2 runs! I'm an old bastard. I went to college in Colorado like everyone else in New England to ski. It's a shame I haven't skied in over 15 years.

If any bro's ski at killington we should get a group together a meet up this winter. Sounds like the winter is so far away. I just can't wait! My ski house starts Halloween weekend, hopefully Killington will be open by then.
