Will ECA work with no thyroid?

As some of you may know I don't have a thyroid due to papillary thyroid cancer. If I was to take an ECA would it do anything? Thanks. Mark

You'd still feel the stimulant effect from it since the thryoid isn't part of the CNS.

What medication are you on for your Thryoid deficiency.

Yes, you will still benefit from its primary mode of action - thermogenesis.

300 mcg levothyroxine (Synthroid) for now. I was on Cytomel for a while after the surgery. Mark
