One even said we should make the poor pay the highest rate of taxes as motivation to get out there and do something productive. The tax hike won't mean much to the super rich like Kerry and his wife, but for people making less than a million a year that provide jobs for 10-100 people they are going to feel it and they will pass their pain on down the line.

I am not saying I think Bush is perfect. I think this whole thing boils down to who is going to hurt us less. I have about $200 extra per paycheck due to the creation of the 10% tax bracket and reduction of rates on the middle class. My home owners insurance is up 40%, medical coverage is up 30%, property taxes up 20%, State fees for vehicle registration up 50%. The list goes on and on. I am afraid Kerry will not keep his word to pay for everything he is promising.
