how come you can inject juice into your muscles, from where it is dispersed throughout your body via blood stream, but its not ok to inject straight into a vein? they both go to your blood, right? stupid question from a rookie...sorry!

When injected into a muscle the oil is slowly released into the bloodstream over time where as an iv shot could cause a problems because the oil does not carry oxygen and can temp effect vision, hearing. A large enough iv shot(2cc's+) can be fatal.
bro, are you a troll or what? you keep asking these questions that a quick search could have given you the answer to. do some research.
Injecting into your vein is not reccomended. This is why we aspirate everytime before we inject.
Right on...righton. My main concern with injecting straight into a vien would be a PE (pulmonary embolism). This is where there is a "clot" of sorts in your lung system that causes a crimp in the blood/gas exchange system. This means bad news. There are also many other adverse effects of IV Push oil's/suspensions, but the main one is PE. This hold true for any medication used parenterally. Only solutions and an occasional liposomal system can be used IV...Originally Posted by righton
