do steroids affect the laser treatment?

soon I will get a laser treatment to get rid of unwanted hair on the cheek. The shave-line will be intact and I still shave my face. It is just the unwanted hair on the cheekbones. the laser destructs the deepest part where the hair starts to grow. now my question is: can I still get hair after the treatment when I am on steroids? Did you ever experience more facial hair growth after a cycle?

a treatment of both cheeks (I mean the face!) for a total of 8 treatments costs 600 euro's. I just had my first treatment and it hurts a lot. During the treatment I will use steroids. I hope it does not affect it.
