Its possible to chip a PS2 easily enough.

I have a XBOX, was a very good deal bundle package when i bought it. I have since had it "modded". The graphics are very good, better than the PS2. I think the PS2 actually has sold more units...

yeah they have, but only because ps2 came out a year before xbox. i read somewhere that xbox has been currently outselling ever other console on a monthly bases since this summer.

wouldnt surprise me with the amount of marketing they have been doing. Saying that im sure Sony will market things big this christmas

As for Xbox Live. I didnt see any point on that at all, in all honesty i dont play my xbox alot, i play everything on PC now, online gameplay is the best.

PS2 will always have a better backing from the game producers. It's easier to mod a PS2 then it is a XBOX, you can hook up a Hard Drive to it, but it wont function in the same respect as a XBOX hard drive would. I have a DVD Burner, so I just burn games i download to DVD and play them.
