I work as a travelling sales rep so I'm always driving around, therefore I have to pack up all my meals at the start of the day. I work out first thing so by the time I have my PPWO I am on the road, I have been looking for a convenient way to consume my oats on the move for PPWO, up until now I've been mixing them in a whey/casein shake - not ideal as I have a whey/dex shake PWO and I prefer not to have two shakes in a row.
I made this recipe two days ago:
Chocolate flavour fat free* flapjack.
250g oatmeal
250g whole oats
50g cocoa
90g splenda
8 egg whites
Mix well, spread to desired thickness on lightly greased baking tray, bake in fan oven @150c for 15-20 mins.
They tasted pretty good, maybe a bit too sweet - will use less splenda next time.
Today I made this recipe:
Cinnamon & Raisin fat free* flapjack.
350g oatmeal
250g whole oats
60g splenda
240g raisins
2 teaspoons cinnamon
10 egg whites
Mix well, spread to desired thickness on lightly greased baking tray, bake in fan oven @150c for 15-20 mins.
Now these are bloody fantastic, give 'em a go!

*Well nearly fat free!
