They do make a xanax xr. Which come in .5, 1, 2, 3 I believe. I just saw a pen at my docs office, never tried them though. Dont do that stuff anymore

actually I have seen some "UG" labs who sell the raw powder that can be made into a 5mg pill. I know of one UG that carries a 2.5mg generic that a lot of people like but no name brand 5mgers
