i recently asked for a high calorie protein shake, well i was told that i can make my protein shake hihg in caloreie by adding dextrose. whats ur response on that. where can i get dextrose and what brand

Dextrose should only be taken with your protein shake post-workout. And yes, it is the ideal carb to consume PWO.
