Farmer walks are a fav of mine. Three sets of 20 reps on shurgs is what you are doing? Increase the weight, imho

i like doing shrugs behind my back. I dont concentrate on the weight but on the exercise. I find it works well.

I do 100lb dumbbells in each hand, 10-12 reps each, 4 sets

Then i do upright rows, which hits them also:
4 sets, 14 reps each set, 7 wide grip, then set the bar down an go immediately to 7 of a closer grip

5x5 on the smith press machine will get those traps pumped.

I have always found that its not the amount of weight u use but how fast u do a rep. I go up then hold for a few seconds, and go back down. Do this like eight times and u should feel a good pump

I take it you are refering to a slowing the movement down and not doing each rep rapid? If so I agree very much with this advice.
