I've heard people say you absorb slower if you use milk, but I don't think it's too significant unless you're using a good bit of milk. I just use 1/2 cup oatmeal + 1/2 cup milk.
i use beatrice skim plus, it has added protein.
Water..........if you're cutting skim milk has sugar, and you don't want it while cutting.
Use Water If Your Cutting.....besides Your Body Needs All The H2o It Can Get.....
try making a smoothie for two scoops put 1/2cup crushed ice in blender frap up the ice more until it gets realy fine then ad 1/2 cup water and the 2scoops blend together if you have a good tasting protein shke this taste awsome also you can add the dextrose during pwo ..... its the shyt and it helps whith the sugar cravings also!!!
milk sucks, period. Wether your bulking or cutting, it just plain sucks.
Good to know thats why my gains suck so bad... Must be the gallon of milk i drink a day. Thanks!

so true. When I cut I lay off the diary but when Im bulking I love me some milk. Not only does it have a great macro ratio (almost exactly 40/40/20) but it helps me up my calories for the day without feeling stuffed and is a great source of calcium

There have been studies showing that 3servings of milk a day will help with lower fat. I would personally use good old H2O, and yes you will absorb that faster than milk.
