I'm benching (70's) on a swiss ball, here, around 205lbs, and *high* single digit Bf.

You got some big delts and calves.
Hooker, you dont look like a Hooker at all, I just adore guys who cordinate there clothing too![]()
Also what are the benfits of benching on a Swiss Ball ?
I'm not a BB'er, so the swiss ball work is mostly injury prevention, and stabilizer work...I play a sport, remember....
are you the officail underarmor sponsor? lookin jacked bro
What sport do you play?
Yeah...Actually, only the Shorts are mine...the shirt and hat are rock's (mod on BB4L).
I play rugby.
we need to get you a pay rise !!! Tell me more about this stableiser thing. I have injured my rotator cuff, will it help protect that ?Originally Posted by hooker
If you look closely, you'll see a big scar on each shoulder, actually....I've had surgery on both...
Swiss Ball work will help you with that kind of injury....at least it helped me...
So what do you use it for ? ie what excercises can you do on it ?Originally Posted by hooker
I'd roll off that **** thing.. in fact i have joking around with heavy weights on it. It is good for sports/injury training, but is **** for hypertrophy. You dont look how i expected you... for some reason i pictured you looking like something from the future.. maybe a cyborg or something.
BDTR you have been looking in the mirror too much broOriginally Posted by bdtr

Looking good bro. You have an athelte's build which is a good thing IMO.
Looking real good Hook...
My boy does alot of exercises on the ball... his training is for firefighting however, and has helped his balance immensely.....
looking good bro, pretty vascular, keep up the good work.

So you're not a nerd in a lab coat after all. Looking good.
I posted this (originally) in the AAS forum, so people who hang there could see me...it's really the only forum I post alot in...Originally Posted by bdtr

Yeah, my hypertrophy days are over....now, the name of the game for me is rehab/prehab, and sports training.
Lookin' good bro. Not how I pictured you either...
How did you guys all picture me? Remember, I'm not a bodybuilder at all (never was one)...I play a sport (rugby) with a high level of Mixed-Fuel requirements, and need to be able to run around a field for 80mins...
I can still squat around a quarter ton (just about 500lbs, no belt, no suit, no wraps), bench around 350(+?), etc...but honestly, my training is more sports-specific, and less pure weights...I only do 1-2 weight excercises 3-4 times a week...the rest of my training is going to rugby practice, swiss-ball/stability work, rehab/prehab, and track work.
how did you guys picture me?
Good sports frame Hooker. I agree with the ball workout. I trained on it for hockey and it does wonders for balance.
To be honest, that's pretty close to how I pictured you bro.... you've said you weren't a BBer for some time...
Benches, split squats, rotator cuff excercises, triceps extentions...really almost anything....Originally Posted by seanw
NO...not a nerd in a lab coat...I wanted to post the pic just so people have an idea who they're getting advice from...granted, I'm not a BB'er, but I look good enough, I guess.Originally Posted by big k.l.g

Looking good Hook. . I have a swiss ball at home but I ONLY use it for ab work and maybe lower back (body weight only) but I would use caution using any weights escpecially heavy can CAUSE injury. I see many trainers sometimes showing clients the ball with weights and I usually cringe. Balance & stabilzing is important and you could roll off if not experienced and if you had a db's then your natural tendency is to try to not fall off thus straining something in the process. But if use properly then I suppose you would be okay.
You look good to me. Especially, the delts and calves. I really didn't picture you huge because you stated many times that you're not a BB'er. This may sound weird but you look like a normal guy considering your high level of intelligence.Originally Posted by hooker
Yeah...actually, there's alot of dudes who write some good articles and stuff on the boards...and I usually picture them as little geeks too....
athletic build brutha, looking good
Looking pretty **** solid bro... Just about exactly as I expected...
Thats pretty much the only angle I can give you guys a pic from, since my back and Tri's are heavily tattoo'd....
I'll probably have some more random ones (me playing rugby and stuff) soon....
You look jacked Hooker. What are your stats?Originally Posted by hooker

Looking jacked man![]()
I figured you played rugby.. considering Hooker is a position in rugby
this is how i pictured you...
but i guess everybody's wrong sometimes...
Looks like you have good size in your legs and shoulders.
