If you are trying to burn caloires no. After cardio your body is going to continue burning fat, dextrose will spike your insulin and stop it.
Now, 2-3 hours after cardio it wont be interfering with the metabolic boost you got from doing the cardio....but high GI anything is never good for fat loss at anytime. The only exeption is when you eat a high GI food after lifting wieghts to stimulte muscle growth, but people do this knowing it wont burn them any fat.
If you are trying to increase your endurance, it would be ok, but at the expense of fat loss.
