    Gain 1 in. on your arms in 12 hours?

    Has anyone attempted this workout featured in Muscle & Fitness on page 96 that claims if you workout your bis and tris for 12 straight hours, you can gain up to one inch? The workout example is very intense with back-to-back 4 exercises broken into 2 supersets every half hour. I want to know if anyone has heard/attempted this and the results.

    No, but post the workout and the theory behind it... I'm saying hell no to it.

    More than likely as they say "if it sounds too good to be true it probably is". These gain 1 inch on your arms workouts just sound like over training to me. Just something they have on the cover to catch someones eye and make them buy the mag.

    The workout is featuring IFBB pro Mat Duvall who claims that he did it when he was 18 and gained 1 in.
    Workout 1 consists of a superset (workout 1) barbell curls 3 x 8 and tricep pushdowns 3 x 8 and then followed by a superset (workout 2) seated dumbell curls 3 x 10 and french press 3 x 10. As follows, not including breaks for eating, drinking, etc.
    8am - workout #1, 8:30 - workout #2, 9 - repeat workout 1, 9:30 - repeat workout #2, and so on.

    Unfortunately he's probably being paid to say that. As bdtr said post the theory behind it, if there is one.

    Its common sense that ur not gonna gain 1 inch in 12 hours. The muscle would need time to repair itself after a workout like that which would take time.

    Even in the highly unlikly event of this been able to work dont you think everybody would be doing it and that it would be well publicisied ?

    Also imagine them bad-ass stretch marks

    If that were true wed all av ronnie arms in a week!!! Maybe it is true and theres a conspiracy created by gyms and supplement companies, to stop us all getting to the size we want by training a couple of weeks a year. My guess is sadly probably not, some1 needs to try this and post b4 and after pics. Another thing i read somewhere b4 u av to do it then not train 4 like a month after or somethin.

    http://www.muscle-fitness.com/training/30 Pretty much confirms itself to be bs at the end, no real muscle gain, just a swelling of the muscle due to over exertion, and of course the swelling will affect future workouts, because if you give your muscles enough time to recover from this, the swelling will go away, as will the extra size, and if you continue to train not long after you have done it, your gains will be hindered, because your muscles havent recovered fully yet.

    Arnie talks about this in his encyclopedia. It's for the day before a contest or shoot. To bring up weaker bodyparts, appearently if you do a set to failure every hour the day before the show, you'll gain an inch.
