Question Bout..**needles**!

I no this maybe a real stupid question to most but can any1 tell me if it is really a definate to draw back a shringe before injecting,its just that i inject the ass! and never have,i was told there is no need in this particular area

you really should aspirate... it only takes a second to pull back on the plunger a bit and it could save your life

how far back should i pull back and how would i no,cause wouldn't blood draw up the shringe anyway

all you have to do is pull back a little on the plunger. you will know if you are in a vein because it will be easy to draw back and you will pull blood back into the syringe. if this happens, don't panic and don't try to push the blood back in. just pull your needle out, reinject in a different spot, and try again. if you are not in a vein you won't be able to pull the plunger back. you don't have to pull hard and it only takes an extra second to check. the thing you have to remember is that you will sometimes go through veins, but unless the tip of the needle stops in a vein, you don't have a problem.

does "keep you from being all fuked up" sound better?

i have only heard stories about people getting screwed up from injecting aas straight into veins so i don't know what the consequences are first-hand. i would prefer not to find out

Generally, you get very light headed and short of breath. Then you wake up in the bathroom floor with a broken syringe in your ass.

No way, actually its funny you said that 1 time out of the hundreds of times I've injected I felt that way! I almost passed out it was a really strange feeling, I started spining etc... I thought I had hit a vein but when i pulled the needle out i had no bleeding !!! Strange

exactly youll get an air bubble if its good and blood if its bad. i never used to aspirate in the glutes either and i realized after i started doing it how many times i did hit a vein.
