Chest- BB's or DB's for mass?

In tryin to gain mass, is it better to

    A. Do workouts using only BB's for a period, like a month... and then switch up to DB's only the following month and so on.

    OR

    B. Incorporate both DB's and BB's in the same workout.

    Opinions????

Option B. I use BB for bench press and DB's for incline presses.. Swap over every once in a while..

    I'd use d-bells myself.

When you develop stabilizer muscles as well, not only do you grow those bigger, your regular "locked in" barbell movement poundages should increase!

do both in the same work out . But do change workouts since our bodies do have muscle memory .

You didn't specify which bodypart, but since it's a compound, chest, front delts and tris' will allbe strongly activated. But for pec mass, the DB's will hit the pecs harder, but you should still rotate them both in and out if you cannot do both in your routine. And for many trainees, doing both is overkill. Pecs are the most overworked BP in BB'ing.

It doesn't matter. Just use good form and go heavy with whatever you choose. Both will put on mass.

yup I do dumbells for 3-4 months then switch to barbell movements and it feels eaiser because of the less balance required
