    supplements for injuries

I ride BMX bikes and injuries are apart of it.
What are some good supplements for a twisted knee or something to help with a sprained ankle?

    rest

honestly bro - the best thing for yer body with those type of injuries is rest. if it's an injury affecting ligaments/tendons then I would suggest something with glucosamine HCL and chondroitin.

    thx man
i have heard about these but haven't tried them.
I have heard that with these there is a 4-6 week front load before you notice anything. Is this something anyone else has heard?

i injured my elbow snowboarding about 3 months ago, i had a chipped bone and dislocation. The best thing for me was to just take it real easy and let it heal. It toke forever and is still not near 100% but everyday it gets a little bit better. I took glucosamine and it seemed to help quite a bit. Also took calcium and multivitamin. Good luck!

I would for sure take the Glucosamine. I would also, if your not already ice your knee/ankle at least 3 times a day. I've had alot of and am still going through alot of problems with my shoulder and and I swear by icing it. Ice worked wonders for my knee when i was having alot of probs with it as well
