i know hittin the delts isnt bad but my shoulders are kinda messed up and really sore from football and we are liftin mad shoulders lately so i dont wanna noticed and look all dead and worn out...i dont have much fat in the butt so i think i can shoot it there once

I use nothing but 1" pins for Glutes, Delts & Quads. The only issue with the 1" is that you will insert the pin nearly all the way in and leave very little exposed while injecting. 1 1/2" pins are nice because you don't have to go all the way in. In the odd event of a pin breaking, you'd have some needle exposed making it easier to pull it out.
Just be careful and use the 1". You will be fine.

Yeah, shoot the quads or shoulders. I feel they are more comfortable and less painful. I wouldn't stick 1" in my glutes.
i'm lean and use 1 inch for glutes and pecs... if your a fat@ss use 1.5
