it is processed in the liver and straining the liver. but not as hard as 17aa steroids, like brian mentioned.
you could get problems with your liver but only if you use nolva for a long time

tamoxifen has cancer causing potential, but so does drinking water these days. I would bet smoking is 10x as bad at causing cancer.
