Hi, thanks for your time reading my first post. I'm considering my first cycle. Actually, a friend of mine that I have trained with at my gym (who is obviously very experienced in this stuff) has offered to help me out. Basically this is his recommendation on a first cycle, based on my goals and body type etc.
I'd like to run it past you all here, who seem very knowledgable. Again, I really appreciate your time.
First, a bit about me. Over the past 3 years, I've been training very regularly with decent discipline. I've went from 340 pounds at 39% body fat to 228 pounds at 18% body fat, which is about where I am today. The bulk of the weight I've lost came off in the first year.
I'm about 5'10 and I'm 33 years old. I'm not new to weight lifting (have been lifting since high school), but as of 3 years ago the whole science behind eating right and dieting was new to me. I feel like I have a pretty good handle on that now; even though I would like to make much more progress at becoming leaner and adding muscle.
So, on with the goods. This is the cycle my buddy has 'recommended' to me:
Week 1: Equip 400mg, Masteron 200mg, Test Prop 200mg
Week 2: Equip 400mg, Parabolan (trem) 200mg, Test Prop 200mg
Week 3: Equip 400mg, Masteron 200mg, Winstrol V 1 25mg tab per day
Week 4: Equip 400mg, Parabolan (trem) 200mg, Winstrol V 1 25mg tab per day
Week 5: Equip 400mg, Masteron 200mg, Test Prop 200mg
Week 6: Equip 400mg, Parabolan (trem) 200mg, Test Prop 200mg
Week 7: Equip 400mg, Masteron 200mg, Winstrol V 1 25mg tab per day
Week 8: Equip 400mg, Parabolan (trem) 200mg, Winstrol V 1 25mg tab per day
Week 9: Equip 400mg, Masteron 200mg, Test Prop 200mg
Week 10: Equip 400mg, Parabolan (trem) 200mg, Test Prop 200mg
Injections are two per week, so for example on week 1:
Monday 200mg equip + 100mg mast + 100mg prop
Thursday same thing
Ok, the idea here is that I'm a guy who has lost a great deal of weight over the past few years and have dramatically changed my appearance. He wanted me to go with this cycle because he feels as though it'll help me continue to drop body fat and add some decent muscle, which I haven't been able to do in the past several months. I seem to be just maintaining.
So, he wanted me to use these particular "flavors" in order to avoid the extreme weight gain and 'puffyness' that comes with the more "regluar" stuff (such as test, deca, dbol). I realize that I must sound like a complete noob.. that's because I am, so thanks for your patience
In case it matters, more info:
Current split:
Monday: Legs (never maxed at squats, but I can usually get 315 for 12)
Tuesday: bench (315 for 3, 115# DBs for 8)
Wed: back (deads, can usually rep 315 from the floor for 12)
Thu: off
Fri: Shoulders (225# military press for 2 or 3)
Sat: Bis/Tris
I try to get in calvs / abs / forearms every couple of days or when they arent sore..
Cardio I basically just walk at lunch for an hour, try to keep my heart rate fairly low.. no big deal.
