Nothing lower than 20 guauge.
i use a 22g to suck out of the bottle and also to shoot if it is my glutes.
i dont konw what type of prop u have but ive used 25g all the time to draw out of a bottle
i have generic...
it wont draw AT ALL. frickenly frickers.
I never use anything smaller then 23g to draw ... I just swap it out with the 25g to shoot
Inject air into the vial, see if that works.
I have been shooting QV prop with a 25g for 4 weeks. yours must be super thick or something.
draw wtih 18g
i have used a 25 gauge to draw prop before, it just takes a while
22g to draw 25 g to shoot. 18g tears the crap out of the rubber top and next thning you know there is a bunch of grey pieces in the oil.

Until you get your new pinz run the vial under some hot water to thin it out, then inject 3cc of air into the vial before you draw.Originally Posted by chris2wire
I'd go with 20g pinz, 18g don't really draw much faster, but they tend to tear up the stopper.Originally Posted by chris2wire
21ga pins draw ok and the hole seals back up nicely. Order your syringes with 21ga, and order an equivelant number of shooting pins, and 25ga 1-1/2" will work fine for that. If you can't find 25ga 1-1/2", go with 23ga.
I can draw anything I have ever tried to draw, with a 25ga, BTW. It just takes a long long time and you have to inject a good bit of air, then pull a pretty stout vaccuum with the syringe. Eventually it will flow. Heating the gear will help... just hold it in your morning coffee for a few minutes. (Obviously, I shoot in the AM)
Why 1-1/2"? I use 25g 1" for everything and never had a problem.Originally Posted by The Baron

Pure speculation on my part....of course![]()
Hmmm, will try the hot water thing later today... maybe thatll work
EDIT: Once its in the syringe itll cool down... wont I need it just as hot to shoot it?

Just to be sure of sufficient depth on glute shots. A little too long is only a minor annoyance. A little too short is too darn short. By all means, someone who is pretty lean could get by just fine with 1"... but my nurse/GF says never stick it in all the way and touch the ferrule part to the injection site. A little needle should be showing. I use 1-1/2" for everything. I just stick in what is needed and no more.Originally Posted by SV-1
no. easier to shoot than to draw.
this is some thick sheyot, ill try it tho

ok so i set the vial in constant flow of hot water and was able to SLOWLY, i mean SLOW SLOW SLOW draw up prop but it WOULD NOT shoot out period.
So now I Have prop stuck in the syringe.
What else can I try? This stinks. Boiling water? I dunno... How to heat it up once its in the syringe?
I hope all hope is not lost...
