How many grams of protein can the body digest in one sitting? ive heard only 50 g's...
I'm not sure, but I think your body can only use around 30 g's at a time
you heard right if you take in more than 50 gms of protein (shake/sup) you'll just end up wasting it in the form of unprocessed urine
now real food protein such as fish,chicken beef etc digests slower and you can load up on it
if you eat propperly and every 2-2.5 hours you should have no problems meeting your protein needs
i take in aprox 40gms per shake myself
yeah i usually do too..along with other foods such as chicken, beef, etc.
thats why i was wondering with a meal with alot of protein along with a protein shake would be too much protein.
i dont take shakes with high proteine meals,but logic dictates that your body would absorb the shake first
i use shakes as mid meal snacks and light meal fillers
thats a really cool picture.....i like to take in 50gram meals during the day...and then 100grams after a workout...if i have slin and igf going.....i also take them with enzymes to help with digestion.

good question... i was just gonna ask the same thing... so my 4 scoop shakes=about 60 grams of protien are a waste... will cut back to 3 scoops...

average human can process around 50-60 grams of protein per meal. anything more your just flushing down the toliet, literally.
BUT.. if your taking AAS or any other drug that can speed up protein synthesis, ect... this number may be different.
