can get into secured sites

Could be your browser settings. Are you on a public computer?

Was it working and just stopped?

check ur encryption settings. Make sure its set to 128bit cypher strength

Mkae sure you have SSL enabled. (Secure Sockets Layer) that would be tcp port 443. ANy site that starts out https: that uses SSL and needs to be enabled in your browser.
