switching juice

i am currently on week 4 of 400 mg of eq ang 600 mg of cyp.
i would like to switch the eq over to deca. my question is if i do this was the eq just wasted? being that i will now have to wait for the deca to kick in or does the time i have spent on the eq shorten the time for the deca to kick in?
