On a side note--Nas is about to start a battle with 50 Cent--taken from mtv.com

"Nas kept fans up, taking them through his seemingly endless catalog of singles before finally getting to the meat of the show — a series of beefs. He did "Ether," his classic battle track directed at Jay-Z, but asked his DJ, LES, not to play Jay's name, saying, "Don't say his name. We love him." Most of the crowd screamed out "50 Cent!" in place of Jay-Z, showing support instead for his latest feud. At the conclusion of the song, Nas informed the crowd that he has another one coming out later this year about somebody else, then went into the first bars of his latest track, "MC Burial," rapping, "They say Jada defeated him/ Joe too street for him/ What's next, I guess, it's for Nas to ether him."

    I like 50 a lot--but Nas will murder him

Nah, never.......won't matter, 50 will have a hotter track and sell more anyway.

That, and NAS doesn't have his OWN MOVIE.

50 has "Get Rich or Die Tryin'" which is the title of his first album, and hits theatres soon.

    Now that's a P I M P.

Doesn't matter, 50 will still outsell, outhustle, outpimp, out everything, NAS.

I've never liked NAS myself, just never appealed to me.

I'd much rather be 50 and be doing all that he is doing, and making a movie, clothes, shoes, vitamin water, etc.

It's about big business, and I admire the h*ll outta him for that.

50 will outsell outhustle outpimp most if not all rapper's at the minute

ever since nas brought out ether he sold himself to me and i think the most of the people felt. Even though hot 97 tried to hate on nas and big up jay-z he still won hand's down it was better than the takeover and that rubish track he brought out over bad intensions.

it is about big business and 50 is as big as thay come but if you turn your back on the street's the one's who got him to where he is today.

the first time i seen 50 cent was on the wanksta vid and i thought dam he is ****ing tight i downloaded it give it to a couple of friend's. Thay all thought it was crap but i knew he was going to be the next big thing to hit the big stage and that was 3 or 4 month before he released in da club.

Nas had his own movie, "Belly", I don't care how much 50 sells, I like him a lot too, but Nas is a rap icon, could be argued that he is the best ever through his record catelogue, Illmatic is looked at as one of if not the greatest rap album ever--he's like a poet---50 has nowhere the cred that Nas does---but in terms of making money 50 has it on lock

  26. #26
cant really compare the two 50 is about about the money making tracks for the main stream, dont get me wrong but i like his music. Nas on the other hand is a poet, alot more street cred hes made his movies and stuff and i guarentee belly is a better moveie then get rich or die trying pput fifty in a real movie not based on his life and see how good an actor he is

50 Cent Invests In Vitamin Water
    By Nolan Strong
    Date: 10/13/2004 7:57 am

50 Cent is diversifying and taking some of the money he earned from his multiplatinum album releases and investing in a beverage company.

Unlike his business counterparts who have invested in energy drinks and liquor businesses, the Queen's bred rapper bought a stake in Glaceau, the company that owns the Vitamin Water drink.

50 said he drinks the product on a regular basis, since he does not drink alcoholic beverages.

According to sources, 50 Cent will release his own line of drinks, a grape-flavored beverage called Formula 50.

Formula 50 will retail for $1.99 and while it hasn't been officially released, select stores in New York are testing the product.

Presently, 50 Cent is recording his second album, which was originally slated to be released this summer.

50 Cent scrapped the first recording of the album, fearing he hadn't outdone his major label debut, Get Rich or Die Trying.

this is kinda off topic guys but I just have to tell you about this group called cunnin lynguist, they have to be the best group I have ever heard. They have the best beats and there lyrics are very well written.

I have southern underground and sloppy seconds 2 and they are both my favorite cd's
