You are right the larger tends to be lower on the GI scale. The smalled rolled Oats have been made that way to cook quicker, however the difference isn't anything to really worry about.
i use old fashioned quaker oats..the 20 mins ones..but i still just put it in the microwave for 1min and add some splenda so it works well
