Grilled is my fav., broiled comes next, never fried
What is the healthiest way to cook salmon?
you retain more of the nutritious fats by broiling it i would think
I like it BBQ'ed!
Wrap it in foil with garlic/butter/salt/pepper and set it on the grill.
DAYUM!!!!!!

Hey Swole what is the best health wise to cook it?
Tiger has a good point.
I think broiling it might be slightly healthier, but i dont see why grilling it will make it any less healthy, especially if you put it in a aluminum pouch like swole said.
My favorite! But I BBQ everything, I'm addicted to the grill.Originally Posted by SwoleCat
Raw, in a nice sushi wrap.Besides that I'll grill it in foil (always use foil otherwise it will fall apart and be messy) or I'll broil it. Both cooked ways I always use garlic, lawry's, and some sort of cajun seasoning.
Remove skin, squeeze lemon juice on filet, pinch of lemon pepper, steam with white wine, cover with hollandaise sauce. Always try to use wild salmon, fish farmed salmon are a much lower quality.
Mmm wild salmon.... Not all of us are in Alaska!Originally Posted by Ranger5
True, but there really is a huge difference. And by buying wild salmon you are supporting Alaskan commercial fisherman. The more wild salmon you guys eat, the more money I make. Wherever you buy your salmon at, demand they buy wild fish. The best wild salmon you can buy is Copper river king salmon. They have the highest omega-3 content.Originally Posted by BeerBaron

No salaries, you get paid by how much you catch. I generally make 10-15 thousand a month longlining. We try and get at least 10,000 pounds per trip. Sometimes more sometimes less. Very very delicious and very convenient.
I just got turned on to Wild Salmon, I think the flavor is so much better. I take Dijon mustard and spread it on the salmon. Dice parcley, chives, basil ,tarragon (whatever fresh herbs you have) roll the salmon in it and put in a dry pan and cook. It's awsome and i know it sounds like a lot of work but it really is easy. If I have some left i make a tarragon dressing with good olive oil and serve cold over greens the next day.
