Does Proviron prevent gains?

After reading a lot about Proviron it seems to be a better anti e than nolva but I see that it stops amorization before it occures instead of blocking the receptors like nolva. So this makes it a more effective anti e but does it prevent gains when taking it with Drol since all your gains from drol are mostly water?

Help me out here guys before I start I don't want to take something that woudl make my cycle useless or non-effective.
