    Deodorant causing stretch marks??

Im not very knowledgable on stretch marks, but i was wondering since all my stretch marks are situated in my arm pits, could deodorant be drying my skin out making it more prone to stretch marks? or is it just a coincidence?

I spose if it is the deodarant i dont no what you can do about that... not use deodorant?.. heh

stetch marks are prone to certain areas on the male body, front delts, rear and side gluteal region. deorderant use is irrelevant. unless you don't use it....then its VERY relevant!

I am not a doctor, but i did sleep at a holiday inn last night!!

Try and find a vitamin E lotion. Rub it on the areas before and after works out. It seems to help some.

And for the record, Deoderant just masks the smell. Antiperspirant is what stop you from sweating.

If you're using an antipersiprant like Certain Dry, or anything perscription grade, it could possibly have a small effect since antipersiparnt does tend to dry you out.

But, a vitamin E rub should be enough to help with that. St. Ives makes a pretty cheap one.
