That's around 3200 cals ED.It all depends on your metabolism.You could very well require far more cals than that to grow.Also,once you plateau weightwise,you'll need to bump your cals up slightly each week to keep gains coming.Originally Posted by jsimon

He didn't mean add 50carbs, he means like another few hundred clean calories. Test is what you make it. Do some searches on the above pull down menu. If you eat lean it'll serve as cutter, if you eat moderate you'll gain strenght, if you eat big (real big 3200 calories about average for a active male) then you'll get big...4000+calories. And like the man said it depends on your metabolism, if you're naturally fast then you'll need even more calories. Experiment though, keep a diary of how much you eat from week to week and make adjustments as warranted.
