I just was wondering if anyone would know if.... I consumed say 150 grams of protein a day and I weigh 150. Could too much protein cause health problems? I heard from someone too much deposits of protein can cause kidney stones, is that true?

I do not think that is too much protein at all. In fact, I would consume more if you are trying to add mass. Drinking plently of water will help the kidneys. The main problem with too much protein is it might not settle well in your stomach causing bloating and gas.

i think taking in 300 if u weight 150 is too much, 150 -200 grams a day wolnt hurt you. drink water.
Yeah 150-200 grams a day is fine. Be sure not to rely on protien powder. Only use whey before and after weigth training. Get most of your protien through foods such as chicken,turkey, beef, tuna, etc. If you must use protien powder for a meal, I reccomend a casein product.
I would suggest taking more. You want to take anywhere from 1- 2 grams of protein per pund of body weight. So I would say 300 grams would be good. If your not trying to "bulk" and get huge then I would stay at the 150 grams. Stick with the Whey Protein too. Stay away from Soy!
