be careful with that weight. your body is not use to that much. that would be insane though.

You'll want to check your form before trying to go that heavy. I take a very wide stance pressing towards the outsides of my shoes. Also make sure your back is arched and your staring towards the ceiling. You may want to wrap your knees as a precaution. I don't use wraps yet but, every once in a while when I set new PR's my knees tend to ache a bit.

too many reps!drop don t multiple sets of 5 with heavier weights abd belt up. guarantee it would increase your one rep max. if you squating for BB then keep hitting hypertrophy like numbers.

    3 weeks later...still gaining strength.

I think in 3 more weeks im going for 3 sets of 12 @ 405

got up 405 for 8 then 12 last week, after leg curls, stiff lehgged deds, and good mornings.

Going to bring a video camera into gym to check my form from the side, make sure i'm not cheating, and i'll post it up once i get it done.

    nope im natty.

i was just out of the gym for 2 months before august......lower body anyway...for natz in August.

Thats why im making huge gains right now............it''ll taper off.

But any time you take 8 weeks off from the rack to improve endurance and jump speed, and leg speed you're going to lose strength.
