    question on peanutt butter when cutting

    is peanut butter a good fat when cutting, i like to add 2 tablesoons, to my whey shake to slow down digestion. Any thoughts???

    natty PB still has sugar in it though
    at least all the stuff i can find
    thats why i only use very little at a time when cutting

    whats it like in shake? i havent tried that. isnt the PB a little thick to mix with water/whey??

    i use 1 tablespoon of natty pb with my chocolate whey it almost tastes like reeses pb cups its pretty good

    well, if you heat it up, it turns a little liquidy and then you could mix it with a protein shake. Ive done it once but it didnt really taste that great cuz i think you need a decent amount, like more than 2tbsp of it to make it taste good.
    Agree though with you G that you should keep it to a minimum a day, there are better fats out there.

    Not sure there are many better fats out there Natty PB is one of the best. The cabs in it are next to nothing and there's no sugar as far as I know.

    i have here Waitrose organic smooth Peanut butter (no added sugar)

    per 12g

    PRO: 3g
    CARBS 1.2g (of which are sugars 0.4g)
    FAT: 6.1g (of which are sats 1.1)


    i would normally double this serving so i would get just over 12g Fat but also 2.4g Carbs - add this to a double helping of whey pro shake and it would be more like 7g

    it all adds up

    unless i am buying the wrong PB

    i've only done 2, with another in the pipeline

    the 2 so far are "best way to eat your egg whites" and "Healthy Protein Bars"
