I luuurve Ace of Base - Cruel Summer when lifting heavy weights. The sheer flamboyant gayness of this 80's pop song provides a nice compliment to the heavy testosterone and anger I need to use when lifting. And no i am not joking.

N'Sync "It's tearing up my heart"

Any Erasure song my favorite band of the 80's but I I love listening to "I'm so in love with you" while doing barbell curls.

Pet Shop Boys - Love comes quickly - What can I say, i was in highschool and college in the 80s

Tonight the gym was spinning some Tiffany - I Think We're Alone Now. I think they run xM or something. Depending on who's working the desk, I get a good mix of 90's Alternative (Candle Box, Pearl Jam, Screaming Trees, etc.) or I end up with Top 40 or 80's (not the good 80's either).

Something about shoulder shrugs and Wam! that just doesn't click for me.

man, we had to listen to some stuff like flock of seagulls, menudo, prince. it was at my college gym...they would not play hard rock cause all the old people complained.
