I was on propecia for the past 5 years and recently I have noticed my hair thinning more so the doc put me on Proscar. She said take 5mg eod, wouldn't it be better to take 2.5mg ed if I can break the small pills in half?

I take 1mg a day. I've been taking it for 1 month now. My hair has gotten thicker especially around the crown area.

Ever since I switched from propecia 1mg ed to my UGL finasteride at 1mg ed my hair started to thin. Which makes me think that it was the ugl labs finasteride which was bad or underdosed. I will see how proscar 5mg eod works...

is finastride legal, for some reason i thought that aar carried something like it, but i couldn't find it, any help?

finasteride is a research chem so no it's not illegal; however, i have heard dutasteride is going to be coming out soon and that it's a pretty sweet product!
