Thread: Cardio in the morning right? BUT!!

Cardio in the morning right? BUT!!

Does it matter if it's RIGHT WHEN YOU WAKE UP?? Or just make sure its on an empty stomach?

For example, I wake up at like 8 or 9am, I mess around the house for a while and about 10-11am I do my cardio. I don't eat anything, only drink water..

Then when I am done I eat..

So basically, does it matter how long I wait to do cardio after I wake up, or just make sure I am doing it on an empty stomach?
    Thanks!

they longer you are awake without eating anything the longer your bady is doing without all the stuff it needs. Personaly I do my cardio in the afternoon before my evening meal but thats just the way i prefer it

Because you are now going that much longer without a meal. AM cardio in and of itself is not catabolic. But dieting is, esp. after not eating all night long. So when you wake up you want to do your cardio ASAP so you can get some food in you right after.

    Thanks for explaining.

I thought not waiting too long after rising was pretty straight-forward (because one hasn't eaten ALL NIGHT long), but thanks for clearin' it up!

Swole, retiring. Say it ain' so??? Me thinks he might have bigger fish to fry though. If you do retire, retire like MJ and come back for a second run.

I'm definetly getting on the Swoletrain next spring, I can't afford to lift too much this winter, as it will be my first season competeing in skiing at a professional level, I'm afraid with all the lifting and skiing and touring my body will get worked way too hard.

Not retiring as of yet, no.

However, the future may leave me no choice.
