Hey all my good ar buddies. I wanted to ask you is it possible to work out your gastrocnemius (calf muscle) while sitting or only while standing. I know that the soleus is worked out while sitting. But since I work out at home I don't have a leg press to do toe presses or a smith machine for standing calf raises. So.... Can I do seated calf raises with my toes pointed straight and close together and would that still target the gastrocnemius (and how much stress percentage wise?)
If you don't know please don't respond, I've searched and googled for an hour and can't find shiznit!!!! Thanks guys (and gals.)
