What is the purpose of bulking and cutting or vice versa if you arent competing?Wouldnt it be much easier to put on sufficient size then cut and maintain?....

I cant really answer about the competing thing but it seems to me one always follows the other.
If you do a heavy bulking cycle then your gonna gain some fat along with it, so then you do a cutting cycle...
For some people it is hard to maintain a cut physic while putting on as much muscle as they can.
However that's just IMO...i guess someone who competes could answer that better.
How many of you go back and forth and how do you go about this in terms of diet,cardio,etc..
i usually try to get bigger first then leaner---i dont bulk up as far as can then lose to cut---i try to maintain a lean(not cut)look as i get bigger---gains may be a little slower but thats cool
im tired after reading it it did not make a shit of sence
i used to bulk up to get bigger then get leaner--now i try to stay lean as i get bigger---just gains are slower
