I've heard that taking a multi vitamin is sometimes worthless because - the acids in your stomach are not able to dissolve the vitamin - before you pass it. (If this was true....I might still be ok cause I only go once a day usually?)

Vitamins are divided into two groups....
Fat soluble and Water soluble.
Water soluble vitamins are absorbed through the stomach wall. And, aren't easily affected by acidity. But, do mix with the HCL in the stomach, causing indigestion. Which, is why it's better to take vitamins with food, and not on an empty stomach.
The fat soluble vitamins...A,D,E,and K are absorbed by the large intestine. And, it helps to eat...so, that the vitamins are carried with the food, and are absorbed more readily by the large intestine.
I take a multi every morning with breaky. Along with Calcium Citrate and Vitamin C.

There is 100mg of Calcium and 15mg of Vitamin C in my whey protien - I have 2-3 servings/day - So guess I do get some in already.

Just so you know, bell peppers contain the most vitamin C.
I take 4,000mg of vitamin C a day
1 Multi vitamin
4 B-50 Complex vitamins
1 E 400 I.U.
1 A 8,000 I.U.
3 Grams of fish oil
3 Calcium, Magnesium and Zinc Pills
